About the Journal

Scientific journal managed and published by the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS) of Aviation Health at Poltekkes Adisutjipto Yogyakarta. The journal focuses on the advancement of health science and technology, specifically tailored to the aviation environment and industry.

Jurnal Saintek Kesehatan Penerbangan publishes original research articles, in-depth literature reviews, and applied study reports from various health disciplines—including Pharmacy, Nutrition, and Radiology—oriented toward aviation safety, comfort, and health. The scope of the journal encompasses topics such as clinical and industrial pharmacy, aviation nutrition and dietetics, radiodiagnostic technology and radiation protection, aviation occupational and environmental health, flight-related illnesses, drug and medical device safety, as well as innovative research supporting aerospace healthcare services.

The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, and accepts manuscripts in both Indonesian and English that have not been published previously in any media. All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process by qualified reviewers in their respective fields, alongside editorial processing by the editorial team.

The publication of Jurnal Saintek Kesehatan Penerbangan aims to serve as a scientific platform for disseminating vocational health research that contributes to the advancement of technological innovation and aviation health services in Indonesia. Operating under an Open Access policy, all content is freely accessible to readers to support the broader dissemination of knowledge.
